Police officers shot an armed suspect in Brooklyn Thursday night, law enforcement sources said.

Cops responded to a report of three men injured after a shooting in Bushwick shortly before 11 p.m., the sources said.

The officers then spotted the suspected gunman on Wilson Avenue, near Halsey Street, and ordered him to drop his weapon before firing, according to the sources.

He was taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in unknown condition.

It doesn’t appear that any of the cops were injured.

The NYPD asked residents to avoid the area and to “expect a large police presence.”
