Land Rover has now launched the 3-door Defender 90 in India. The SUV is priced from Rs. 76.57 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Defender is based on the D7x architecture. The Defender 90 (3-door) measures 4,583 mm in length, 1,974 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,587 mm. In terms of design, the SUV borrows cues from the original Defender, blending rugged looks with contemporary design.
The Defender 90 comes in a 6-seat configuration with a central jump seat in the front. The SUV is equipped with Land Rover's Pivi infotainment system, which even has its own back-up battery.
The SUV comes in three trims - Defender, X-Dynamic and Defender X. The Defender and X-Dynamic trims are available in S, SE and HSE variants. Additionally, customers have the option to personalize their vehicles with four accessory packs - Explorer, Adventure, Country and Urban.
The Defender 90 is available with three engine options -
All engines come with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with Land Rover's Terrain Response 2 system, electronic air suspension, a locking central differential and an active rear-locking differential.
