Urgent alert for thousands of Sydneysiders as Covid is found in sewage from 32 suburbs with NO known cases - as a busy Coles and Aldi are added to exposure site list

Coronavirus fragments have been found in wastewater gathered from 32 north-western Sydney suburbs, putting thousands of residents on alert.

A busy Coles at Wetherill Park in the city's south-west was also added to the relentlessly growing Covid exposure list on Thursday evening, along with a nearby Vodafone store and an Aldi in Menai.
