Share price of Power Finance Corp. rises as Nifty weakens

Shares of Power Finance Corporation Ltd. gained 0.86 per cent to Rs 122.8 in Thursday's trade as of 10:51AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 123.9 and low of Rs 121.8 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 14.41 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:51AM shares and turnover at Rs 1.95 crore around that time.

The stock of Power Finance Corporation Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 140.5 and Rs 78.9, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.57.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 55.99 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs held 17.32 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 19.55 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 18155.14 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2021, down 1.55 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 18441.72 crore and down 11.69 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 16254.65 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 2921.87 crore, up 522.73 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
