National Doctors’ Day is dedicated to all the doctors and health care workers who have been treating and serving the people. Western Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (WRWWO) marked this day with an educative programme for the Women staff of Headquarter Office on the subject of ‘Cancer in Women- Awareness and its Prevention’. Tanuja Kansal - President of WRWWO was the Chief Guest of the programme.

According to Sumit Thakur- Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Tanuja Kansal congratulated the Doctors and health care workers who have been working selflessly, especially during the pandemic. She felicitated the Doctors present at the programme and enunciated on the contributions made by them to the society. She said that women quiet often neglect their own health, as they are busy juggling between their various responsibilities. Kansal further spoke on ‘Cancer in Women’- Awareness and it’s Prevention. She said that women need to take care of their health. All women staff who attended the programme were enlightened by the presentation made by Dr. Savita Gangurde and Dr Anuja Rajurkar as the subject is very relevant to women who are constantly facing situations wherein this kind of knowledge enables them to deal with related deficiencies or abnormalities without delay.
