THANE: For the third day in a row, the
Covid-19 vaccination drive will remain suspended in Kalyan-Dombivli on Friday.
The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (
KDMC) has been facing a shortage of vaccines for over two weeks.
Suspending the drive for the eight-day in a span of a fortnight, KDMC said, "Vaccination at all centres in the KDMC area will remain shut on July 8."
Earlier, the drive was suspended on June 27, June 29, June 30, July 1, and July 2, July 5, and July 7.
The KDMC did not specify the reason for cancelling Friday's drive.
Meanwhile, the KDMC area has reported 135 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday.
