Ratlam: Ratlam MLA has pulled up Mini Smart City (MSC) Monitoring committee over snail-paced work.

MLA Chetanya Kashyap said that the approved works should be completed timely collector Kumar Purushottam directed Ratlam Municipal Corporation (RMC) to monitor the works of the consultancy agency as the works of Mini Smart City project are not meeting expected deadlines.

They directed that the works of Krishi Upaj Mandi to Fawwara Chowk should be completed at the earliest and the work of Unkala Road should be completed by July 15.

The expenses of the new boundary wall of Kalaka Mata Garden and One Stop Centre should be borne by the contractor as adequate width of the road of 12 metre was not available between Convent School to One Stop Centre.

Kashyap said that asphaltation work being carried at the Convent School road lacks proper slope and must be repaired immediately. Purushottam expressed dissatisfaction over the speed work of speed at Collectorate Bhawan Road and directed the RMC commissioner to depute a engineer full time for monitoring the work of Unkala Road pipeline.

RMC Commissioner Somnath Jharia, officials of the MPUDC, PWD, PHED and RMC were present.
