OnePlus is preparing for the Nord successor launch and as part of it, the Nord Ambassador Program has been announced. It is a program aimed at promoting the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone. It has further confirmed that the much-rumored smartphone will go official on July 22nd.

Nord Ambassador Program aka NAP is aimed at fans of the Nord lineup. The team has now created a dedicated sub-forum for the Nord series so that fans can have discussions. It says there will be exclusive content, fun events, and official details related to the lineup available through the sub-forum. It is similar to how OnePlus forums work for OnePlus flagship devices.

The team will also be selecting some of the fans and assign them as Nord Ambassadors. It has not mentioned how many users will be selected but we can expect the number to be fairly small. They will "run the conversation here on Nord subforums and represent us globally as core community members". These ambassadors will also get additional perks including real-world gifts.

All ambassadors will receive a free OnePlus Nord device whenever there will be a new product launch. They will further receive shoutouts from the company's official social media channels. If you are interested in trying your luck at becoming one of the ambassadors, OnePlus will share application details in the future.

As for the launch, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G is now confirmed to launch on July 22nd. A dedicated page for the product launch has been made live on the official OnePlus website. It has already been revealed that the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor.
