announced that DENSO Corporation has selected its software portfolio for the
model-based development of the next generation. Using this model-based
simulation, DENSO can investigate a variety of design possibilities and also
resolve issues that come up when physical models are built. The company can
utilize this new process to reduce the time needed for product development,
increase design quality, cut down costs, and improve competitiveness. A variety
of services like conducting pilot projects at the design site, process
consulting, and establishing processes for modelling will be offered by
Siemens.
DENSO can implement system simulation for
the development process by using the Simcenter portfolio of simulation and test
applications. According to Masaki Suzuki, General Manager MBD Promotion
Department Engineering Digital Transformation Promotion Division, DENSO

in technical and consulting services, the three-year MBD pilot has been successful.
He also said that full-scale deployment will start in Japan and overseas soon
and with the support from Siemens the company can accelerate MBD deployment
