Danish take-up of broadband at 300 Mbps remains low in H2 2020 despite broad availability

Between the first half of 2020 and the second half of the year, the number of broadband subscriptions in Denmark enabling downloads between 300 Mbps and 500 Mbps surged from 100,000 to 439,000. So says the Danish Energy Authority's H2 telestatistics report, based on figures submitted by the operators. Even though 94 percent of homes and businesses could access service at least at 300 Mbps, only 32 percent of subscriptions sold are for that minimum speed.
