NEW DELHI: The revamped
council of ministers (CoM) has become younger and has a mix of both experienced hands in government and professionals from various fields. The average age of the new CoM now stands at 58 years compared to 61 years of the earlier council.
The age profile of the ministers show that 14 of them including six
Cabinet ministers are below 50. The average age of 36 new ministers who took oath on Wednesday is 55.8 years.
