Al Shamal Municipality's general control section has carried out a campaign to remove abandoned vehicles and equipment in co-operation with the services affairs department and the committee for the removal of abandoned vehicles. Thirty-six abandoned vehicles and pieces of equipment were removed over three days of the campaign. Besides, 140 stickers were placed on other vehicles and equipment directing their removal by the owners as these had been parked in undesignated areas.
