Radheshyam issues vaccination call

Thoubal, July 07 2021: Heirok AC MLA Th Radheshyam has appealed everyone to not believe the numerous fake and unfounded news about COVID-19 vaccines and assured a compensation of Rs 10 lakh if any vaccinated individual dies due to complications arising out of the vaccine after 3 years.

Th Radheshyam said this during the inauguration programme of LED flood lighted ground at Leirongthel in Heirok AC today and added that getting vaccinated is one of the most important steps in fighting the pandemic.

Reiterating that the COVID-19 vaccine is completely safe, former Minister Th Radheshyam promised a sum of Rs 10 lakh if any individual succumbs to complications arising out of the vaccine.

He also appealed the locals of Heirok AC to get vaccinated at the earliest to make Heirok a Covid free Constituency.

The former Minister also thanked the locals for their invaluable cooperation in the completion of flood lighting of the local ground and added that no MLA can complete any developmental work without the support of the public.

The installation of LED flood lights at the ground will be able to motivate people to engage in sports activities to keep themselves fit and healthy, he added.

A similar project has already been completed at Heirok Kabo Leikai and another two projects are currently underway at Tourangbam leikai Youth Club and NESA Nongpok Sekmai grounds, he added.

Th Radheshyam appealed the locals of the Constituency to work towards making Heirok a model constituency where co-operation amongst the residents of the AC is the main virtue.
