Eurofins | Chem-MAP has announced that, following a successful chemical management process review and audit, French sustainable fashion brand, ERAM group, have been awarded Chem-MAP approved partner status. Chem-MAP offers a suite of chemical management tools that support stakeholders within material supply chains to implement responsible chemistry.
Compliance with brand restricted chemical requirements is now an essential part of material manufacturing and product supply. The Chem-MAP programme reviews a company’s procedures and policies for chemical and supply chain management to ensure business practices are responsible and sustainable. The Chem-MAP approved partner status is awarded to a company that meets set criteria with regards to robust chemical management systems and their implementation within the supply chain, according to a press release by Eurofins.
“We are pleased to have ERAM on-board as a Chem-MAP approved partner. Their engagement and successful completion of the Chem-MAP audit protocol shows a clear commitment to product transparency and sustainable chemistry,” Georgina Mawer, head of Chem-MAP consulting states said in a statement.
The Eurofins | Chem-MAP team work with chemical companies, manufacturers and brands and retailers across the leather, textile, synthetic and coatings industries; preventing harmful chemicals from entering the supply chain, protecting workers, consumers and the environment.
