Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done the biggest expansion of his cabinet so far. Overall, 36 new ministers have joined the cabinet this time, 7 old ministers have been promoted and 12 ministers have resigned. The biggest news is the resignation of four big ministers of the country. These include Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, Law and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar and Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.

So today, we will do a complete analysis of this cabinet reshuffle and tell you what is the reason behind the ministers who have been discharged? And what is the strategy of Prime Minister Modi behind making such big changes in his team?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet expansion program took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan Wednesday, during which a total of 15 leaders took oath as cabinet ministers and 28 leaders took oath as Ministers of State.

Cabinet expansion highlights-

A total of 43 leaders took oath as ministers, out of which 36 are such leaders, who were not in the cabinet earlier and 7 leaders are such who have been promoted.

After the expansion of the cabinet, now the Dalit community has a record 12 ministers in the government and all these leaders come from eight different states of the country. Another important thing here is that all these leaders coming from Scheduled Castes belong to 12 different communities.

Apart from this, the number of ministers of Scheduled Tribes has now increased to 8 in the new cabinet, which is the highest number in any government so far. Here too, care has been taken that no one community should get a special place even in the Scheduled Tribes. In view of this, leaders from the seven sub-castes of the tribal community have been made ministers in the government.

With this cabinet expansion, a record has also been made for having the highest number of OBC community ministers in any government. Now a total of 27 ministers will be from the OBC community in Prime Minister Modi's team. It can also be called the first OBC government of India, in which the Prime Minister himself comes from the OBC community.

Apart from this, the number of women in the Union Cabinet has also increased to 11. After this expansion, it is also being called the government of the youth. While the average age of Prime Minister Modi's Council of Ministers was 61 years before the cabinet expansion, it has now become 58 years.

The number of experienced leaders in the cabinet is very high. Among them, there are 46 leaders who have worked in the central government at some point in the past. Along with this, there are 23 leaders who have won the Lok Sabha elections three or more times.

Now there will be experienced leaders of the states in the team of Prime Minister Modi. For example, after the expansion of the cabinet, now there are 4 leaders in the government who have been Chief Ministers. These include former Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane, Rajnath Singh and Arjun Munda. Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has also been the Chief Minister of Gujarat four times.

There are 18 leaders in this cabinet who have experience as ministers in state governments and 39 leaders who have been MLAs in the past.

After the expansion of the cabinet, now the number of educated leaders in the government has become the highest including 13 lawyers, 6 doctors, 5 engineers, 7 civil servants, 7 PhD in Govt. Scholar, 3 MBAs and 68 leaders who are graduates. That is, 88 percent of the leaders in Prime Minister Modi's new team are those who are graduates.

Another big highlight of cabinet expansion is that now Prime Minister Narendra Modi's council of ministers has become very large and the total leaders in this have now become 77, which were 53 earlier.
