MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has informed that the Covid-19 vaccination drive will remain suspended on Friday. The civic body informed that due to the unavailability of vaccine doses, the vaccination drive will not be held at government and Municipal Corporation Vaccination Centres in the BMC area. The civic body stated that vaccination will resume as soon as stock becomes available. BMC also requested citizens to corporate with the administration. Similarly, due to a shortage of doses, vaccination drives will not be conducted at TMC centres in Thane and Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation area. Meanwhile, Mumbai city reported 540 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday. The total in the maximum city caseload has reached 7,26,824. As many as 13 people also succumbed to the virus.
