NTA begins GAT-B and BET 2021 registration process; exam on Aug 14

NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency has commenced the online application process for Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B)/ Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET)-2021 on Wednesday, i.e., July 7, 2021.
Interested candidates can apply for the GAT-B and BET through the NTA websites: dbt.nta.ac.in /www.nta.ac.in. The last date to apply for the exams is July 31, 2021.
The GAT-B, BET exams will be conducted on August 14, 2021. The duration of the exam will be three hours. The test will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and the medium of question paper will be English.
The Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology (GAT-B)/ Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Department of Biotechnology supported Postgraduate Programme in Biotechnology and allied areas in participating Institutions (GAT-B) and for the award of DBT – Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology (BET).
“Candidates can apply for GAT-B/BET or both -2021 through “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted,” NTA said in a notice. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. Multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted under any circumstances, it added.
