Film actor Snehal Dabi recently made a shocking claim against ace film producer Firoz Nadiadwala. The actor alleged that even after fourteen years of the release of Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer 'Welcome', the film producer has not cleared his dues yet. In his interview with an entertainment portal, Snehal said, 'I haven’t yet been paid. Firoz Bhai only assures me that he will give me the money. Hence, I was disillusioned here and was wondering what industry is this?' Further, while expressing his disappointment, Snehal confessed that he will never work again with Firoz Nadiadwala. He said that even if Firoz Nadiadwala offers him 10 crores, he will not sign his film. 'He just only commits but never keeps his promise', added the actor. For the unversed, in the past, Snehal Dabbi and Firoz Nadiadwala have teamed up for several films like 'Hera Pheri', 'Deewane Huye Paagal', 'Welcome' and 'Welcome Back'. Well, talking about the film, 'Welcome' was a rom-com released in the year 2007 and other than Akshay and Katrina, it starred actors like Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Feroz Khan, Paresh Rawal, and Mallika Sherawat in pivotal roles. The film was helmed by Aneez Bazmi and turned out to be a hit at the box office, minting several crores. Well, this is not the first time the ace film producer has been accused of not paying the dues. Earlier, In 2016, director Anees Bazmee in his interaction with a news portal claimed that Firoz had not cleared his dues for 'Welcome'. He said, 'I have exempted Rs. 3 crore of total Rs. 5 crores due. He promised to pay the rest Rs. 2 crores but I was given two post-dated cheques, one of November the other of December each of Rs. 1 crore. At the time of withdrawal, he had issued a stop payment of both the cheques. There are many workers who are yet to get their dues'.
