NEW DELHI: Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd. traded 0.27 per cent down in Wednesday's trade at 02:13PM (IST). Around 27,240 shares changed hands on the counter.

The scrip opened at Rs 1007.2 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1019.9 and Rs 955.9, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Adani Green Energy Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 1394.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 306.1.

As per BSE, the total market cap of the Adani Green Energy Ltd. stood at Rs 154055.41 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 1082.0 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2021, up 28.36 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 842.92 crore and up 50.56 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 718.67 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 105.0 crore, up 8.91 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Mar-2021, domestic institutional investors held 0.12 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 21.47 per cent and the promoters 54.92 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 824.35 and a price-to-book ratio of 200.6. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
