'Kumkum Bhagya' actress Shikha Singh, who took a break from showbiz after welcoming a baby girl last year, on Wednesday received a barrage of hate comments on social media after she shared a topless picture of herself.
Days after sharing a picture of herself breastfeeding her baby, Shikha took to Instagram to share a stunning photo. It shows the actress lying on a bed holding a pillow which has been strategically placed to hide her modesty.
She's seen wearing a red lip in the picture.
"Theme of the night was 'Red'," she wrote in the caption.

While Shikha's friends from the industry took to the comments section to leave compliments, a section of netizens seemed rather displeased.
A user wrote: "Ye expect nahi kiya tha apse."
"Yeah sahi nahi hai," commented another.
"Shame on you," read a comment on the post.
Others left comments like - "what happened to you?" "Not expected from uhhhh," "highly disappointed."
Last week, Shikha shared a picture of herself breastfeeding her daughter Alyna and wrote in the caption: "We live in a society where a mother catches less hell for giving her toddler a coke than she does for giving her toddler Breastmilk. Several celebrities lauded her for doing her bit in 'normalising' breastfeeding in public.
Actress Supriya Shukla wrote, "Superb shikha... I have fed my daughters in malls... Restaurants...Car. Nothing is more important than my child n her feeding...Luv u"
Ekta Kaul commented, "Love it too.. posting about it too.."
Ankita Bhargava Patel's comment read: "Totally !!! I too am working towards Normalising what is the most NORMAL thing to do ! Still have ppl close to me asking me to stop breastfeeding ! Including The Gynacs and Peds doc

Shikha Singh and her pilot husband Karan Shah welcomed their first child in June, 2020. They have named their daughter Alayna Singh Shah.
