Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, who was undergoing treatment for pneumonia, was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday morning. His son and actor Vivaan Shah took to social media and shared a glimpse of his father.

Bollywood lost one of the most legendary actors on Wednesday as Dilip Kumar breathed his last at a hospital in Mumbai. He was 98. Soon after the news of his demise broke out, social media filled with heartfelt messages from his fans, friends and B-town celebs. Amongst everyone, Saira Banu’s grandniece and actress Sayyesha penned a beautiful note for Dilip Saab on her Instagram handle.

Dilip Kumar passed away today. The late actor was laid to rest with full state honours at Juhu Qabrastan. His mortal remains were wrapped in Indian tricolour. He was then taken to the Juhu Qabrastan in Santacruz, Mumbai. Recently, Sanjay Dutt took to his social media handle to remember the late actor.

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar was laid to rest with full state honours at Juhu Qabrastan around 4:30 pm on July 7. The 98-year-old thespian breathed his last at 7:30 am on Wednesday. Fans of Dilip Kumar had gathered outside the hospital where the ‘tragedy king' passed away and the Mumbai police formed a human chain so that his mortal remains could be taken to his Bandra residence.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today paid his last respects to veteran actor Dilip Kumar and consoled his grieving wife, Saira Banu and the family. After receiving the news of the veteran actor's demise this morning, the Chief Minister offered his condolences and instructed the administration to conduct his funeral with state honours. The Chief Minister also paid his last respects to Dilip Kumar at his residence in Khar and was joined by Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray and Shiv Sena Secretary Milind Narvekar.
