England will play in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday, their first major tournament final since 1966, after defeating Denmark at Wembley.
They will come up against Italy, who defeated Spain on penalties in the other semi-final on Tuesday.
Mikkel Damsgaard’s brilliant free-kick put the Danes ahead on Wednesday before Simon Kjaer’s own goal helped England level before the break.
But Harry Kane’s extra-time tap-in after his penalty miss was enough to secure victory on a famous night at Wembley.

The 2021 Euro final is on Sunday, July 11.
What time is kick-off?
It’s an 8pm BST start at Wembley.
What TV channel is it on?
BBC and ITV. Both broadcasters have been sharing out the games throughout Euro 2020, but they will broadcast the final simultaneously.
And as our exclusive report revealed earlier this week, England’s 1966 hat-trick hero Sir Geoff Hurst will be pitchside on the BBC’s coverage.
How many fans will be allowed in the stadium?
Capacity for the Euro 2020 semi-finals and final at Wembley has been increased to 75 per cent, meaning more than 60,000 fans will now be able to attend the showpiece event.
All ticket holders will need to follow a number of strict entry requirements, including having a negative Covid-19 test or proof of full vaccination – two doses received, 14 days before the fixture.
When did England last win the Euros?
They never have. They have been losing semi-finalists twice – first in 1968 (read Alan Mullery on that here) and, famously, in 1996. Their last major tournament win was, of course, 1966.
