Thane: List of Covid-19 vaccination centres for people aged over 18 years

THANE: The Thane Municipal Corporation has released a list of vaccination centres where eligible citizens can get their first or second jab against Covid-19 on Wednesday.
The inoculation drive in the city will take place across 50 centres. Both Covaxin and Covishield doses are being administered in the city.
Covaxin doses
Covaxin doses will be available at five vaccination centres in Thane on Wednesday for beneficiaries aged above 18 years. Those who have taken their first dose of the vaccine on June 8 are now eligible for the second dose.
Walk-in vaccination has been allowed in Thane Global Hub 1 (10 am to 1 pm), TMC Kausa stadium (11 am to 4 pm) and TMC post Covid centre 2 (2 pm to 4 pm).
Citizens will have to book their vaccine slot online for the Thane Global Hub 2 centre, where 400 doses will be available from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Drive-in vaccination will be conducted at the TMC parking plaza near Jupiter Hospital from 11 am to 4 pm.
Covishield doses
The remaining 45 vaccination centres in the city will be administering the Covishield vaccine. Those who had taken their first dose upto April 12 will now be permitted to take their second jab.
For people going abroad, Tokyo Olympics
A special walk-in session for people who are due to travel abroad for studies, work, and those participating in the Tokyo Olympics will also be conducted.
The walk-in session will be held at the TMC post-Covid Centre 1, located at Majiwada from 11 am to 1 pm. It will have 100 doses of Covishield.
Vaccination on Wheels
The first and second doses of Covishield will be given to people above 45 years of age through the civic body's vaccination on wheels initiative at Vitawa Koliwada, New English School (Naupada), Sankalp New English School (Wagle Estate) and Om Sai Nagar in Diva.

Differently-abled beneficiaries will be given preference at all Covid-19 vaccination centres.
