Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are staying in a £10,000-a-night historic seafront mansion in Majorca built to defend the coast from attacks by the British.
The Juventus striker, 36, revealed on Monday that he was holidaying on the island after he posted Instagram snaps of him relaxing with partner Georgina Rodriguez and his four children on board his luxury 88 feet-long Azimut Grande yacht called GC Mare.
On Wednesday, it was revealed the rented home he is staying in boasts its own tennis court, a large swimming pool, and a heli-pad.

The mansion dates from 1715 and was built to ward off the British who at the time controlled the island of Menorca.
The sensational property, located in the bay of Pollensa in the north of Majorca, has seven bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and is built across 40 acres of land.
It also has its own heli-pad as well as a full-size tennis court, large swimming pool and spa area with a sauna and 'chill out' area.
Cristiano and Georgina don't have to worry about getting their hands dirty in the kitchen because the fully-modernised mansion comes with a butler, housekeepers, private chef and kitchen staff. The staff are housed in separate accommodation within the estate.

The footballer, who is set to return to action with Juventus for pre-season training in the coming weeks, is understood to be moving around in his own vehicle with bodyguards.
His partner is said to be using a luxury blue Rolls Royce to get from their rented home to Cristiano's yacht which is moored in Port d'Alcudia.
Cristiano has been enjoying some down time with his girlfriend Georgina and his children after Portugal's defeat at Euro 2020 last week.
The footballer's national team were knocked out of Euro 2020 in a 1-0 defeat to Belgium in the round of 16 after a goal by Thorgan Hazard.

Along with his eldest son Cristiano Jr, Cristiano and Georgina are also joined by their daughter Alana Martina, three, and his twins, Eva and Mateo, three, born via surrogacy in the US, on the trip.
Cristiano, who has just one year left on his contract with Juventus, gave away his holiday location on Sunday by posting a picture of him with his family on his yacht off the town of Pollensa in northern Majorca.
He titled the snap: 'It's time to rest with my loves.' The boat he went out to sea on with his family is the super-yacht he purchased last June which boasts five luxury cabins and six bedrooms and is capable of reaching 28 knots, thanks to two 1,900 horsepower engines.
The family all looked to have caught the sun as they enjoyed some quality time together.

Spacious: The mansion also has a dining room fit to cater to ten people, and a plush living room for guests to enjoy
Cristiano posed in a pair of tight patterned swimming trunks, showcasing his lean physique, and wore a black cap.
Georgina, a former retail assistant, wowed in a navy blue bikini, showing off her toned legs, as she held onto Cristiano's daughter Eva.
The family-of-six had clearly just been taking a dip in the sea and were now relaxing in the sunshine as they dried off.
Georgina and footballer Cristiano famously met while she was working as a retail assistant in Madrid, as they caught eyes across the rails in Gucci in 2016.
Last year, she admitted that the meeting with the Juventus star saw her 'fall in love at first sight'.

She claimed that the feeling was mutual following their encounter as she revealed in a recent interview with Italy's Elle magazine.
Georgina said: 'The first meeting with Ronaldo was at Gucci where I worked as a sales assistant. Days later we saw each other again at another brand's event.
'It was then we could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside of my work environment. It was love at first sight for both.'
Last year, Georgina sparked speculation that she'd tied the knot with her beau when she referred to him as her 'husband' in a gushing post celebrating her 26th birthday.

When contacted by MailOnline, representatives for Ronaldo declined to comment.
The former Man U and Real Madrid player picked Majorca last year for his summer holidays. He was spotted cruising around the island in his new yacht and visited the upmarket tourist town of Deia, where Bob Geldof owns a home.
AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has also been enjoying the delights of Majorca and in mid-June posted a video of him cycling bare-chested along Palma seafront.
This weekend it was reported Cristiano had topped the Instagram rich list for the first time after dethroning wrestling legend Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
The dad-of-four has more than 308 million followers on Instagram, more than anyone else in the world, and social media experts say they believe he can charge around £1.2 million for a post on his account.
