Prime Minister Narendra Modi The much-awaited Cabinet reshuffle will be held in just a few hours from now at 6 PM. The final meeting of the current Cabinet started at 11 am today. After the official announcement, the newly elected Cabinet members will take part in a swearing-in ceremony at Durbar Hall in Rashtrapati Bhavan. In a big decision before the rejig, the Centre also shifted governors of eight states. Reports say 20-25 new members of Parliaments, including a majority of women, OBCs and Dalits, could join the NDA's new Cabinet this time. Smaller parties like JD-U, Apna Dal and LJP may also find seats in the new Cabinet.

Minister of State Pratap Sarangi has also resigned from the Union Cabinet. He hails from Balasore district of Odisha. Bisweswar Tudu (Adivasi MP) from the state will be inducted as a minister.
In a Facebook post, Union minister Babul Supriyo said, “Yes, when there is smoke there must be a fire somewhere Yes, I have been asked to resign & I have!!. I thank Honourable Prime Minister for giving me the privilege to serve my country as a Member of his Council of Ministers.”
