Man dead after being found shot in Mount Healthy Monday night

A man is dead after being found shot in Mount Healthy on Monday night.

Officers dispatched to the 7800 block of Clovernook Avenue about 10 p.m. on a report of a man on the ground, discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, Mount Healthy police said in a news release.

Police said the man was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Enquirer media partner Fox19 Now reports he was pronounced dead there.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office will conduct the investigation at the request of the Mount Healthy police, the department said.

Fox19 Now said investigators are working to confirm the dead man's identity.

No information has been released about a suspect.
