PUNE: A scrap godown in Chikhali was gutted in a fire in the early hours of Monday. No one suffered injuries. An officer from Pimpri Chinchwad fire brigade said the fire broke out around 12.30am.
Four fire tenders were pressed into service. “Our firemen controlled the blaze in three hours,” the officer said, adding that the reason behind the fire was yet to be ascertained.
