Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken important decisions in the interest of businessmen and entrepreneurs in view of the economic conditions arising due to restrictions like the Covid epidemic and lockdown etc.
Under this, CM Gehlot has decided to extend the period of Amnesty Scheme 2021 applicable for arrears of Value Added Tax (VAT) cases, settlement of disputes, etc. for traders and entrepreneurs. The revised dates for the three phases of this scheme will be July 31, August 31, and September 30 respectively.
Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal of the Commercial Tax Department to extend the date of submission of the VAT-41 form and application for correction in the declaration forms for VAT and the duration of the Amnesty Scheme. He has also approved the draft notification in this regard.
