Vaccination woes: Chaos mars slip distribution
On the other hand, the new system of distributing slips for the vaccination between 8 am to 9 am has failed to prevent chaos-like situation. On Monday the local administration planned to provide second dose of Covishield in two-three wards from one centre. However, beneficiaries exposed the tall claims of the administration. They alleged that chaos prevailed during the distribution of slips and there was no check or control to ensure that slips are distributed on first come first serve basis. Failing to get the slips, many who reached the centres returned disappointed. Locals from wards also flocked and grabbed the slips defeating the arrangement for ward wise centre.
