A person visiting a charity clothing bin early on Tuesday made a gruesome find, with the discovery of a body inside the bin outside a busy shopping centre.

The body is believed to be a woman and was found in a Good Sammys bin outside Stockland Baldivis retail centre in Perth's southern suburbs by a member of the public around 5am on Tuesday.

Perth police are currently investigating, reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to possible witnesses.

Early reports say the incident is not believed to be suspicious and a car found nearby the centre, on Norseman Approach, could belong to the victim, Perthnow reported.
