Ranchi, Jul 6 (UNI) In a major setback to RK Anand the Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday refused to quash the fir registered against him in connection with the 34th national games scam.
The Anti Corruption Bureau is currently probing the scam and has made RK Anand an accused in the case. The ACB has registered a fir in connection with the 34th national games scam worth Rs 28.38 crore.
In this fir, acting president of the then national games organising committee RK Anand and others including SM Hashmi and PC Mishra has been named.
The matter was heard in the court of justice Anil Kumar Chowdhary who had earlier kept its order reserved in the case after hearing arguments of all the concerned parties. On Tuesday court announced its decision not to quash the fir in the case.
