LATEST COVID-19 DEVELOPMENTS:
* The five million people living in lockdown in Sydney and surrounds should learn on Wednesday whether their confinement will extend beyond two weeks.
* NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said on Tuesday she would be consulting with health experts throughout the day and into Tuesday evening, with hopes of telling the community on Wednesday "what next week looks like".
* NSW recorded 18 new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm on Monday, with seven in the community for at least some of their infectious period.
* The Queensland government recorded one new locally acquired COVID-19 case as it moves closer to stamping out outbreaks in the state's southeast.
* Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says the case was identified as a close contact of an Alpha variant case in the Portuguese club cluster.

AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:
* There have been 8,402,191 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Monday, including +146,718 in the previous 24 hours.
* 6,416,491 first doses (9.43 per cent of Australians 16 and over), 1,943,939 second doses (31.12 per cent)
* Of the total, 4,780,305 have been administered by the Commonwealth (an increase of +75,091 in the previous 24 hours).
* 3,621,886 have been administered by the states and territories, including 71,627 in the previous 24 hours.
* 1,189,708 have been administered in Victoria (+23,431), 942,221 in NSW (+20,562), 627,814 in Queensland (+12,670), 326,241 in Western Australia (+5250), 256,522 in South Australia (+5111), 121,331 in Tasmania (+1987), 92,671 in the ACT (+1481) and 65,378 in the NT (+1135).
AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Australia reported 19 local cases on Tuesday: 18 in NSW and one in Queensland.
* There were 10 new overseas-acquired cases in hotel quarantine: five in Queensland, three in WA, and two in Victoria.
* The national death toll is 910: Victoria 820, NSW 56, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7, SA 4, ACT 3 (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).
GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:
* Cases: at least 184,154,287.
* Deaths: at least 3,984,582.
* Vaccine doses administered: at least 3,226,618,237.
