Imphal, July 05 2021: The Executive Engineer of Water Supply Project Construction Division, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Manipur in a press release informed that normal water supply from Singda Water Treatment has been disrupted due to dislocation of a few pieces of pipe of CL clear water main 500mm dia at Phayeng in Imphal West around noon today by the ongoing pipe laying of DI 700 mm dia under NDB Project, just adjacent to the existing pipe line.

Repairing and restoration of the damaged pipeline is in progress and normal water supply will be resumed soon after the completion of the repairing work on July 7, added the statement.
