Covid-19 India Updates: New Infections Drop Below 35,000
Fresh cases of Covid-19 in India dropped below 35,000 for the first time since March 17, in a relief to the country's healthcare system battling the world's second largest outbreak.
34,700 people tested positive for the deadly pathogen in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on July 6. Recoveries remained higher at nearly 52,000, while 553 patients succumbed to the illness in the same period.
