Many smartphone manufacturers have hit the ground with their type of phones with under-display camera. However, only one has able to make its offering available in the market till now. We are talking about ZTE and it is reportedly ready to bring one more phone with an under-display camera.
According to the Chinese site MyDrivers citing a blogger/tipster, ZTE is readying yet another smartphone with an in-display camera and it might launch it as soon as July 2021.
To the uninitiated ones, ZTE introduced its first phone Axon 20 with an under-display camera last year in September. The phone might not have able to feel its presence due to the unripe technology, but its manufacturer has able to carve its name in the pages of history for becoming the first OEM to bring such a phone into the market.
This year, ZTE brought the Axon 30 Pro and the Axon 30 Ultra phones but they feature a hole-punch cutout on the display. It was then assumed that ZTE might launch an entirely new phone with an under-display camera later this year. But according to the report, ZTE will launch this phone in the existing Axon 30 line-up as a true successor to the Axon 20 this month only.
Axon 20 came in September last year and it is good to see that ZTE is pretty active at refreshing its newly born series too soon. According to the report, ZTE Axon 30 will have an improved under-display camera. It is, however, unknown what exact changes ZTE has made this time around. The only detail this report is able to bring is that ZTE has done some software-level improvements to eliminate the glare and diffraction from the material level so as to ensure the picture quality is bright and transparent.
The tip comes in sync with the tip made by a known tipster Ice Universe in April who stated that many manufacturers will bring phones with under-display camera, including ZTE
