Mridul Das, who has been a part of shows such as Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, will now be seen in State of Siege: Temple Attack, which is set to release on Zee5 on July 9. Directed by Ken Ghosh, the film also stars Akshaye Khanna and Gautam Rode. Mridul seems to be highly impressed with Akshaye as he says, “I’ve been eagerly waiting to work with Akshaye sir for a very long time. He is one of my favourite actors and I’m very deeply inspired by him. The best thing about State of Seige is it is my debut film and it is of Akshaye Khanna sir’s debut on OTT platform.”

He adds, “I learnt and gathered a lot of amazing experience working with him on the set. And I like the fact that he is thoroughly professional. He gave me complete freedom to essay the character and always corrected and helped me improvise when needed. It was all worth it in the end and he loved my performance.” Mridul will be playing the role of a terrorist.
