Final year UG, PG exams in Rajasthan to be held offline in July

JAIPUR: Keeping in view the guidelines of the UGC, the decision of the Supreme Court and the suggestions of the departmental committee, the state government has issued guidelines for conducting the examinations of universities and colleges for the session 2020-21.
According to these guidelines, the third or final year undergraduate and post-graduate students or terminal semester examinations of universities and colleges will be conducted offline in the last week of July or first week of August. Their results will be released by September 30, 2021.
Higher Education Minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati, on his residence conducted a press conference on Sunday evening, announcing the much-awaited decision regarding the examination.
Students of the first year of graduation will be promoted by giving marks on the basis of the average of marks obtained in class X and class XII examinations. Students of the second year of graduation will be admitted to the next class provisionally and online teaching will start from July 10, 2021.
Minister Bhati said that whenever the situation of Covid becomes normal, the results of the second year students will be issued by December 31, 2021 by conducting the physical examinations of the second year students on objective or descriptive pattern as per the convenience.
