Rehearsal of a Shumang Leela play based on Covid-19 pandemic titled “Keidoubagi Kidoino” continued on Thursday at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen, Palace Compound. The play is all set to premiere on the 5th July 2021. The duration of the play is about one and a half hour.

Padmashri Awardee and Chairman Academic Sub-Committee Manipur State Shumang Leela Council(MSSLC) Shri Wareppa Naba is the consultant of the play. The play is directed by Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Shri Sh Hemanta. While Shri Ranjit Ningthouja scripted the shumaang leela play “Keidoubagi Kidoino.”

Director IPR Shri Balkrishna Heisnam and Deputy Director IPR Shri Lairenlakpam Ashokumar attended the rehearsal session of the play.

The play is totally funded and organised by the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Manipur.
