On the issue of fresh private candidates, the court was told that examination will be conducted before August 31,2021 and results will be declared on or before September 20,2021.

Recording all these,a division bench headed by Justice BV Nagarathna disposed of the PIL filed by one SV Singre Gowda secretary/, managing trustee of Jnanamandira Education Trust, Bengaluru.

Petitioner had claimed that repeaters/ failed 2nd PUC candidates are being forced to write examination after the easing of Covid situation, whereas fresh candidates have been promoted without any examination,on the strength of their 1st PUC marks and the same is discriminatory.
