Qatar's population dropped to around 2.5mn in June this year from 2.79mn in June 2020 and nearly 2.63mn in May 2021, according to data available on the Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA).
The total population in June was 2,504,910, as compared to 2,794,148 in the same month last year and 2,628,512 in May this year, the data showed.    

 Of the total population in June, 1,825,399 were males and 679,511 females.
