Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken this important decision to provide financial support to the contract workers because of the odd circumstances arising out of the Corona epidemic and the lockdown.
Under this decision of CM Gehlot, the salary or remuneration for the period of statewide lockdown implemented in April 2021 will be paid to the contractual employees working in various departments, state undertakings, etc.
CM Gehlot has approved the proposal of the Finance Department in this regard. According to the proposal, due to a large number of contract workers unable to attend the workplaces due to lockdown and other restrictions, their salary or remuneration, etc. are not being paid for this period.
Now the Chief Minister has given consent to pay the salary to the said personnel. With this decision, a large number of contractual workers, casual and other employees appointed by other sources will get the benefit of payment of remuneration.
