THANE: For the second day in a row,
Covid-19 vaccination will not take place in the city on Tuesday.
Thane Municipal Corporation (

"Vaccination centres by TMC will remain closed on July 6,2021. We apologize for the inconvenience," said the civic body.
However, a limited session of 100 doses will be conducted for those travelling abroad for employment or education.
The session will take place at Post-Covid Centre and Kausa Health Center from 11 am to 1 pm.
The TMC also informed that 150 doses were administered at the government centres on Monday and 6,771 in private centres.
Thane and adjoining Municipal Corporations are facing a shortage of doses for over a week.
Similarly, due to the unavailability of doses, vaccination in Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (
KDMC) area will take place at limited centres.
KDMC said that the second dose of Covishield and Covaxin will be administered at eight centres to people above the age of 18.
