The country is expected to witness a noticeable rise in relative humidity until the middle of this week, the Department of Meteorology said in a tweet Sunday.
The humidity spike is due to a shift in wind direction to Easterly, said the tweet. The wind speed may range from light to moderate at times with chances of misty to foggy conditions in some areas during late night and early morning, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday, causing low horizontal visibility to less than 2km, the tweet added. The Met Department urged all to be cautious and to follow latest updates through official social media account.|
