Imphal, July 03 2021: 43 Assam Rifles Moreh Battalion organised a webinar on Women's Health, Hygiene and Sanitation on Friday.

The webinar was organised by 43 AR in collaboration with Moreh Youth Club (MYC) at the club's office.

Gynaecologist and infertility specialist Dr Sonali Kapila of Palampur in Himachal Pradesh was the panel of the webinar moderated by 43 AR CMO Dr Nerupama Paliyal.

More than 50 women from all age groups participated in the webinar.

Several topics such as Anaemia, Menstrual hygiene and mental health issues including depression were discussed during the programme.

Dr Sonali and Dr Paliyal also spoke on how to identify the diseases in their nascent stages through self-examination of various symptoms of each disease and highlighted the precautions and prevention against the same.

The attendees asked their queries to the doctors which were answered to their satisfaction.

The event was conducted online to ensure maximum participation amidst the COVID protocols.
