German electric car manufacturer, E-Legend has unveiled their all-new EL1 electric coupe. The new E-Legend EL1 is said to have been heavily inspired by the iconic Audi Quattro rally car from the 80s.
As seen, the EL1 electric coupe features a boxy design all around. The electric coupe can be seen with a bulging bonnet with three air vents at the centre, prominent headlights with LED daytime running lights, flared wheel arches with rally-inspired five-spoke wheels finished in white, LED light strip at the rear and a unique fixed spoiler mounted on the boot-lid.
The interiors of the electric coupe is yet to be finalised. However, E-Legend is said to offer the EL1 with a rearview camera, air-conditioning and other multimedia connectivity features on the final version. The coupe will also feature a 3-way adjustable suspension setup, traction control, ABS, ESP and an optional lift system.
The Audi Quattro-inspired electric coupe is said to be powered by a 90 kWh battery pack, paired with three electric motors - one at the front and two at the rear. It offers a combined power output of 804 BHP. E-Legend also states that the EL1 electric coupe is capable of accelerating from 0 - 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of around 255 km/h.
It is said to offer a range of 248 miles (400 km) on a single charge. The EL1 will also be capable of completing 2 laps of the Nurburgring Nordschleife when driven to the limit in the 'Sport' mode, without derating.
E-Legend has already started accepting pre-orders for the EL1 electric coupe. The company is said to limit the production to just 30 units, with each model priced at 890,000 euros (US$1 million).
