Hey everybody, I recently switched from strength training to body building. And I also switched from a bulk to a cut or recomposition none the less. I need to get from 19% body fat down to the 10-12% range. My progress has been great. I am hitting a wall right now as I am just losing total interest in eating. I may have got 800 calories today which I am now down to 170 from 180. Essentially I’m wanting to know if the extra body fat will help me progress with the muscle building and fat loss during a short time period like this! Will the body fat be used to stop muscle loss, potentially helping me gain muscle considering I have not broke my gym routine?
I am about 5 months deep in the gym and I am 5’9 at 25 years old.
