Mumbai reports 548 new Covid-19 cases, 24 deaths
The active cases in Mumbai city stand at 8,114.
MUMBAI: Mumbai on Sunday reported 548 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall count to 7,24,678.
During the day, the city also saw more recoveries than new cases as 705 people got discharged from various hospitals.
So far, 6,98,696 people have recovered from the infection.
However, 24 people also succumbed to the virus. The overall death count has now increased to 15,544 while active cases stand at 8,114.
As per the latest figures, the Covid-19 recovery rate in the city is 96% and the doubling rate is 767 days.
