26-yr-old youth drowns in river in Jalgaon

Jalgaon, Jul 3 (UNI) A 26-year-old youth died due to drowning in the Girna river at Nimkhedi Shivar village in the district on Saturday.
The deceased, Shubham alias Bhavarlal Hiralal Rajput, resident of Hira Shiva Colony, died after drowning in the Girna river today, sources said.
Shubham had gone to Girna river along with his friends. There, when he got into the water, he drowned as he could not swim.
Seeing the incident, a young man and his friends pulled him out of the water and rushed him to a government hospital.
At the hospital, doctors examined him and pronounced him dead.
Police have registered a case of accidental death in this regard, sources added.
