NAGAON, July 2: Luitporia Agro Producer Company Ltd promoted by NABARD in association with district agriculture office, Nagaon recently set up a community nursery of sali paddy at Sologuri village under Chamuagaon agriculture development area.

The nursery was set up in around 4 hectares of land under disaster management only to supply paddy saplings to flood ravaged farmers of the district.

Deputy commissioner Kavitha Padmanabhan in presence of district agriculture officer Bimala Deori and senior agriculture development officer Dilip Bora and other senior officials, inaugurated the programme at Sologuri village on Tuesday last, release added.
