Haryana: Govt warns spread of Aedes mosquito causing non-communicable diseases: source

Chandigarh, Jul 3 (UNI) The month of July 2021 is being observed as 'Dengue Prevention Month' by the Haryana Government.
Giving information about this, an official spokesperson said the Health Department is making people aware about the Aedes mosquito that spreads Dengue and Chikungunya and that this mosquito breeds in clean water and bites only during the day.
He has advised the people of the state to keep the water-filled vessels and water tanks kept on the roofs closed with lids. It should be kept in mind that sudden high fever, sudden severe headache, pain in muscles and joints, pain behind the eyes, among others are symptoms of dengue and malaria.
